Quick share….

When removing clothes from the dryer I make a habit of using the dryer sheet to remove lint on screen. Grabs quickly !

I used to do that too until recently, Deb. That practice actually creates a fire hazard, something that I always worry about when I leave the house before the dryer cycle is done. I read something on Facebook that the sheet leaves a film/residue that “clogs” the screen. You can actually test it. Put the filter under running water and you will see how it pools before passing through. Give it a scrub with a soapy sponge and repeat… the water will pass right through! I was shocked when I tried it myself. I have to admit, it’s a hard habit to break but something that I stopped doing for obvious reasons.
