For Kids of All Ages!
FYI this is another Fab dish for Monday Nite Football; of course depending on how many guest you will be entertaining. Just as I often advise, you can easily alter the recipe to your liking. How hot and spicy or serving with pasta. This Chile is awesome for wraps, a dip and nachos as well. Time saving and the prepared mix is easily stored.
This recipe serves 6
1 lb Spaghetti
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1 8 oz pk 4 cheese Mexican fine grated
1 – 2 cans Chile beans(I use one )
small tomato paste
small onion grated
5 garlic cloves
1 large green pepper diced (optional)
1 oz Chile Pepper ( 1/2 jar)
1/4 cup olive oil
Heat olive oil in skillet with grated onion, diced green pepper & garlic slowly adding ground beef and pork; seasoning with salt & pepper to taste. Turn frequently, when meat has browned make a well in the center and add tomato paste. Stir the fried paste into the browned meat adding chili powder. Let simmer while water boils for cooking spaghetti.
Drain spaghetti and top with 4 cheese Mexican.
Pour meat sauce over the dish and add another sprinkle of cheese! Once again be creative! Add hot beans or your own homemade beans; ( will be posted beans soon) you might also prefer a thinner version of the recipe by adding diced tomato; or a dabble of sour cream and parsley or cilantro.
A side of avocado salad and your done. Not a fan of Hot and Spicy so I keep tabasco sauce on hand for the guests; I also prepare a mild version which kids love.
