White Sangria

fruit is sliced and tiny cubed!

Light & Refreshing!
Start saving those empty wine bottles!
On occasion I have a “Chic Nite” with a group of 12-30 woman. We get together for a fun day to evening event. Sharing the daily moments, or catching up. Usually a psychic reading is offered or a permanent make-up artist attends; basically we enjoy the time with drink and eats. I prepare the food( many of my recipes will be posted);   and I serve refreshments. Wine is always a favorite. Sangria is an economical choice; each bottle readily becomes three; also easily dismisses the worry of a designated driver. I started this recipe when the girls and I would spend a day at the pool; a long day. Not only were the ladies pleased with the poolside refreshment; a tradition started.
1  bottle White wine  your choice (Sparkling wines work well)
2  empty bottles of the same size
2  large apples
2  large pears
2  Mineola  oranges
1  qt of  Crystal Light lemonade
Distribute the wine into the three bottles ; which will be approx. 1/3 full.
Next  peel core and cut apples pears and oranges. Mix fruit together in a bowl; I then use a plastic storage bag to transfer the fruit into the bottles. This works easily for me; of course you can use a funnel… the mix is divided equally. Use the Crytal light lemonade to  complete and fill wine bottles.

a plastic storage bag easily funnels fruit into wine bottle!

Be creative, this recipe can be altered to your liking in the formula 1/2 wine  1/2 lemonade; or adding a variety of  fruit to the wine full potency.

Chill and Enjoy!
